Quality Eye Care
EyeMed values the integrity of our vision network. To maintain this integrity, EyeMed requires providers to complete a stringent credentialing process following NCQA guidelines, ensuring that our members receive the best possible eye care. Providers are then monitored through our Quality Assurance program and are recredentialed every 3 years.
You can save on all your family's eyewear purchases at thousands of independent, regional & national chain eye care centers such as LensCrafters, Sears Optical, Target Optical and most Pearle Vision locations. To see a list of providers in your area use the Provider Locator.
You'll have many choices of styles and brands of eyeglass frames. Your provider will help you select a frame that best suits your face and your lifestyle. Consider:

Frame Styles: Traditional and Designer
Your provider can show you dozens of frames to help you select the one best for you. We recommend quality frames from Luxottica, the world leader in high-quality frame manufacturing. Many of Luxottica's frames include traditional styles, such as:
- Sferoflex®

- Vogue®
- Persol®
- Luxottica
Luxottica also offers designer frames, including those from:
- Anne Klein
- Brooks Brothers
- Moschino®
Look for styles that are:
- Mechanically sound with solid hinges and sturdy solder points. Frames made of titanium alloy can be bent or twisted, yet will return to their original shape.
- Photo Durable in their appearance. Cheaper frames don't always hold up and may deteriorate or discolor. A good quality frame should be corrosion - and heat-resistant and have an unblemished, highly polished finish.
- Comfortable on your face with a straight, balanced look. Advances in metals and plastics have made frames much lighter than in the past. Spring hinges will keep glasses in proper alignment.
